My work is inspired by where I’m from and by what I hold dearest in my heart-my faith in Jesus Christ. I grew up in rural Illinois, where I roamed and discovered on my grandparent’s farm. These memories and experiences have been instrumental in shaping who I am and the work I do. With cockleburs in my hair and an unobstructed view of the horizon, I grew up in revelry of the beauty of where God has placed me, noticing His hand in all that is good around me. He is my inspiration, and it is my delight to be able to capture glimpses of the Creator’s glory through the beauty of his creation, for all to see.

I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.                                      Psalm 27:13

I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, emphasis on photography. I work as a freelance photographer and artist, taking commissions for photography, fine art (drawings, paintings, mixed medium) and design work. My husband is also an artist, and he and I currently reside in Abilene, Texas.
